Liard Hot Springs and Whitehorse

On Monday we stayed at Liard Hot Springs Provincial Campground. It's about 130 miles from the nearest town (or store, or gas station). It's a nice campground but the real draw is the hot water river in the park. It's a popular place for moose and bears so the campground has an electric fence around the whole thing. You walk about a third of a mile (outside the fence!) on a wooden board walk across a warm marshy area and into the forest to get to it. The temperature in the pool ranges from about 98 to 125 degrees from one end to the other. It was awesome!
Today was a long 9ish hour driving day and we crossed into the Yukon Teritory province.
We saw several herds of Wood Bison on the highway. They take their sweet time crossing the road and we let them!
We made a quick stop at the famous Sign Post Forest in Watson Lake. We had to take some photos and put up our own sign. Can you find it? I'm giving you hints in the 3rd photo below.
Lastly, we stopped in Whitehorse to grab some groceries and a quick dinner before driving a little further and finding a place to camp off the highway near a river.
