Our first overnight stop was at a Harvest Host location named Train Mountain in Chiloquin, OR. This was an incredible place. We had a beautiful camp spot on the property, but that was only the beginning.
It holds the Guinness World Record for being the World’s Longest Rideable Miniature Hobby Railway. It's situated on 2,200 acres of land, featuring over 40 miles of track, 1/8 scale ride-on trains , and offers free rail tours. There's no charge for admission and is primarily run by members/volunteers.
We stopped in Bend for lunch and then drove up to another Harvest Host site, Jacob Williams Winery, on the Columbia River for the night.
